About two weeks ago Ryo-oh-ki, my rabbit, died. Ive had her since I was about eight or nine. For those of you who are close to me, you know how important Ryo-oh-ki was to me. Truthfully, Im still not over it. She had a seizure, then another. She lost all control of her legs and could no longer walk or eat. Deciding to put her to sleep was the hardest decision Ive had to make. Burying her was the hardest thing Ive ever had to do. I know it might sound funny to most that a rabbit could mean so much to me, but she did and still dose. I only hope shes in a better place.
Two days after I buried Ryo-oh-ki, I was with Jon my boyfriend. He started complaining of chest pain while we where out to dinner so we went home. A few hours later he collapsed because the pain was so great. His parents rushed him to the hospital and he kissed me goodbye for what I was sure was the last time. He was at the hospital until 7am, the doctors found nothing wrong with him and sent him home. He continued to have extreme chest pain. I begged him to go to the doctor again. When he did go back, he found out he had a infection around his heart. Its a condition so rare that the doctor had to get a book out to tell him the name of it. He was given the right meds and is now back on the path to good health.
Few days after that I went to the doctor because for the last four months Ive been getting extremely ill when I have my period. My doctor fears there might be something very wrong with me. She gave me meds to see if they help, if they dont, Ill have to have an ultrasound to see whats wrong.
I also when to the doctor because of a cyst Ive had on my wrist since high school. It used to go away and come back but for about two years now its been sticking around, about a half a year ago it became painful making sleeping almost impossible in resent months. She referred me to a hand specialist. I met with him, he looked at my hand and told me it was a Ganglion cyst. Its when the lining next to your joint that holds fluid to keep them lubricated, becomes very thin. It then doesnt know when its full of fluid so it just over fills. He told me the only way to get rid of mine, since Ive had it for so long and its just going to keep coming back, is surgery to remove it.
On July 8th at 8:15am, I will go under the knife for the first time in my life. Need less to say Im pretty scared.
Its about a 6 day recovery from the surgery, and another week to be back to almost 100%. If you would like to call to check up on me, just note me and Ill give you my cell phone number. Just know that I might not answer. Seeing as Ill be on pain killers for a few days Jon, my mother, or my brother might be answering the phone.
I promise guys, once things start looking for the better and once Im off pain killers, Ill post some stuff. Just give me some time ^.^
Thank you to:
Jon and Madison for been here for me the entire time all this has been going on. You guys have been life savers!
And thank you most of all Madison for spending that day with me, it really, really made me feel so much better about things. Well have to do it again when I heal from my surgery.
